Home renovation

So fast, a month has gone by. Time really flies and i mean really flies! Our house renovation is half done. The floor on the kitchen and living area has been layed, currently they are waiting for the cement in the rooms to be totally dried up before they can proceed to lay the laminate floor. While waiting for that, we had the other guys coming in to to up the wiring for the whole house. There will be no ceiling lights anymore, we are doing up false ceiling for the whole house.... it's really the whole house, even the kitchen... I wonder how it looks like... Anyway, I think we have another 4 more weeks to go before we can finally move back home. Why it's taking that long? Cos I have boxes and boxes of stuff at home while the renovation is on-going. That's why it kinda delay the process a bit. Poor workers, have to carry things in/out of the room. Imagine the extra labour cost I'm paying! Hope that it's worth every single cent of what Eric is paying... hehehe.. not my business!!!
Anyway, they'll be doing the first coat of paint for the house, then followed by laminate wood in the rooms. After which, the platform bed and wardrobe for my master room and finally the kitchen cabinets and TV console area. Alot of carpentery work this time round. All Eric wants is a brand new look and I do really hope that it's gonna feel like a brand new house that we don't feel like moving... then i can swing Eric out of going for house-hunting... ho ho ho...

Some stuff in the living area... we still have some in the store room

A peek at the kitchen tiles..

Tiles for my living area.. we are using compressed marble this time round...
