Hair-cut @ junior league

I always find it darn difficult to get Alsten to have his hair cut. He'll cry, scream and twitch his way through.. Once, Eric came along and he can't take it.. Our dear daddy just refuse to see his baby crying, his heart was in pain when he saw Alsten tearing. And from that day onwards, he warned me not to bring Alsten for any haircut without his permission... yes.. he's stern about it.

After a few months, I can't take it anymore... We've tried all means and ways... even trying to bribe him with his favourite goodies and sweet .. still to no avail.. And his hair is getting longer, it's beginning to poke his eye...

Then I suddenly thought of Junior League, a hair saloon which specialises in children's haircut... Did a search and found that they have a branch at Vivocity within Toys 'r' us.. So, I decided to head there today and settle our dinner there as well.. Bingo! It was a right move... Alsten saw some kids cutting and best of all? They have small TV screens placed in front of each chair with different VCDs for your kids to choose. Happened that when we were there waiting for his turn, they were playing Barney, the purple dinosaur, one of his favourite.. And Ayden actually wanted to sit on the barber chair =)

When it was his turn, he was a bit squeemish... he refused to let the hairdresser touched him at first, but after seeing that Barney was on, having sweets and all... we managed to quickly cut his hair without all the fuss... Yes, he did protest a bit, but this was the BEST I've encountered.. I'm just so happy and glad that there's a place finally to bring him for a haircut!
