Bronchitis and a mild-cracked rib-cage

I've been having a very persistant cough since Dec.. it's been on-going for the past 1 1/2 mths.. so in the end, only after coughing in pain, off to the doc's I went. It was discovered that I had a very very bad lung infection, even I can hear the wheezing sound when I was in the doctor's room. So I'm been diagnosed with having bronchitis, and to top it off, the doctor suspects that I must have injured my rib-cage since i'm in pain when I cough. Haiz.. do you have any idea how much pain it caused when I cough? It hurts like shit!!! This is the 1st time in my life that I have such a bad cough.. well, I really learnt my lesson the hard way...Please don't self-medicate! If any illnesses doesn't go off after a few days, go get a doc, QUICK!
