To see a paediatrician

I give up! After 5 days of having high fever on and off, I finally brought Alsten to see his P.D today. His fever was shooting up to 39.8deg lor, how not to worry? At first brought to see GP, the medicine only works for few hours then his fever came back. On and Off, it goes on and on.. why can't the fever just 'break' and go off?

So, this morning, seeing that his fever is not going down, I've to send him to see a specialist. It was so packed at Gleneagles Medical Center, 2 lifts broke down, the people are all jammed up at the lobby. I don't like to go to GMC cos i find their lifts suck, so slow....

The clinic too was full of sick kids, so full... I've to wait like an hour and a half before it's my turn. Dr Gong said Alsten has got double infection, i was like 'WHAT? 2 infection? how can it be?', he must have gotta it from his elder brother, so said the doc. And so my poor boy was prescribed 7 kinds of medicine. Haiz, he's gonna hate it when it's time to take medicine. Like all kids, he'll scream, wriggle, spit it all out. Ayden was different, he's exactly like me, loves medicine to bits... drink them like drinking syrup, no retaliation and don't even need water.

The fever and all should subside by Mon, if not I've gotta bring him for a blood test. Oh pleaseeeeee, I really cross my fingers and toes that this will all go away fast. And hope that they're healthy for a real longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time.
