False Alarm after all

Well, this is the 2nd day after Ayden was suspected of having HFMD. We went to seek a 2nd opinion from our family doc. Of cos on the kiasu side, we have to presume the worst of it, but then again by looking at his symthom, it hardly looked like it. Doc Teo said that usually when kids have HFMD, there'll be ulcers and blisters appearing at the same time on the hand, foot and mouth (hence the name lah) plus the backside, but Ayden has none. Only one tiny abrasion (which looked like a broken blister), no fever and appetite pretty good.

There'll be an 'eruption' of blisters within this few days, but I didn't discover any at all. So I strongly believe that it's just an abrasion while in school. Oh, I'm so relief... I was so worried about him and especially since I got a younger boy at home, even worse. Thank goodness everthing turned out fine. Phew!
