Near-miss accident

As usual, today's Friday, so we headed back to mummy's place for weekend stay which Eric loved it so much.. It brings back fond memories, according to him, like back in those days where he used to stay in my house whenever I'm back from flight. He just loved hanging around and chatting with my family. Well, I was in the cab with the 2 kids and my maid heading to mum's place when the driver suddenly did an emergency brake. We were nearly thrown out of our seats! Actually its the 2 cars in front trying to avoid a plank of wood fallen from a truck, so they stepped on the brake, then my taxi-driver also had to e-brake to avoid hitting into them. He was just inches from kissing the back booth of the car in front. My immediate action of cos was to check on everyone and I actually turned back to check whether is there any car behind us as I'm afraid that it'll bang into us. Thankfully, the car was pretty far behind. My maid told the driver off and I'm glad that my baby was in the sarong sling I'm wearing, or else I think he might have slipped off my hands. Lucky too, I did my prayers before I left home, probably 'someone' is protecting us. It's sending chills down to my bones to think that I'm nearly involve in an accident.. I'm so glad that nothing happened.
